This item is to discuss a possible allocation for a new DASG scholarship connected to VIDA Leadership Awards, in honor of a past DASG Senator who died this year. A detailed proposal will come at a later date, but this is to answer initial questions about the idea.

- Lisa: Hack A Thon is being advertised on 11/21 and 11/22 and have not seen any funding requests come through this committee.
Advisor Announcements
- Maritza: Reminder of the distinction in the responsibility of your role and field
hours (promoting DASG but partaking in campus wide events including flea market, homecoming,
destress, etc. Plan to bring up in future senate meeting on how we count field hours.
- I will be out for 2 senate meetings; Dennis will be virtual.
- Dennis: For the next few meetings, we should have the finance code information/discussion for finance code on the agenda as well as an Action item.

NEW DASG Memorial Scholarship
- Maritza presented the item.
- This would not be a foundation scholarship it would be part of the DASG Scholarship Account.
- Foundation is asking for a minimum of $20,000 in order to set one up which is not feasible for the family.
- Request will be made to set one up through DASG for the scholarship account.
