Minutes for the Administration Meeting
James calls meeting to order at 2:04PM.
Francesca is excused for sickness.
Both Suyash and Gabe both present.
The minutes for the meeting of October 15, 2025 was approved by Suyash, seconded by Gabe.
Advisor Announcements:
Maritiza is now working remotely throughout this week. She has a leg injury and currently has her leg elevated. It is not clear on the extent with the injury. Hope to be back in soon in time for Homecoming but now she is working remotely and attending meetings virtually.
- She responds to Discord to message if time sensitive or the Teams app. Keep her in the loop.
Dennis mentions the elections account for the administration committee. Normally, the account if filled with promotional materials or light items or supplies only from candidate reimbursements
- Every quarter there's atleast 2-3k for reimbursements for candidates. Maybe more depending on the candidates.
Shared Governance Reports:
- RAPP got to meet to discuss group placements.
- SSCCC (Gabe) met last Wednesday to fill the regional direction legislative affairs directior. Went from 5-7:30 for voting. Delegates excused and expected to deliver reports in the future. Delegates now have to join the committee, Gabe joined legislative affairs committee. SSCCC's next times will not interfere with DASG meetings in the future.
There are more suggestions for uses of the elections account:
- Food for the Candidate Debate Event (Which would be around 1k for actual food, or less if there's snacks).
- Office supplies? Regularly 500 for DASG club room general supplies

- Newsletter. Sent it out already.
- Deadline for the newsletter is Thursday morning. Very strongly preferred to fill out the newsletter form and send the image.
- (James has already sent it out to Maritiza and Dennis after this meeting and is waiting for a response, and has filled out the newsletter form).
Intern Projects (Suyash led)
- Interns are encouraged to give any ideas on campus that you want to see become improved. Learn about what theyre affected by and try to align with their skills.
- One prospective intern mentioned the Cafeteria.
Dennis mentioned school wifi is something that is currently being worked on.
Check In About Candidate Debate Reservations:
- Confirmed Monday because it is the first day of campaigning before voting starts, that way to get the video out by Tuesday.
- Monday the 2nd would be the last infosession.
- Request for additional funding from supplies to food
- Might need more for supplies
- Will Cost 2k for full catering, 1k for total budget.
- Room reservation will be done by Dennis and Maritiza's account of it.
- Need to verify the election certification and complaint meetings. if due march 5th. ideally find time that the council chambers is available.
ELECTION CODE PROCESS TO BE ADDED INTO SENATE:
- Minimum 2 information discussion
- Action item to approve the changes
- 1 minimum info discussion agenda
Final Advisor Announcements:
- reminder to James to update the consent calendars with the shared governance groups and go over that another time.
- reminder to Administration to change the schedules for another time so that the Student Council Chambers are available.
