Find Success, Support + Friends With IMPACT AAPI
Would you like to join fellow De Anza students in a program designed to connect you with new friends, resources and academic support?
The IMPACT AAPI Learning Community is designed to promote academic success while taking UC/CSU transferable courses – including EWRT 1A/LART 250 (English Reading and Composition) and classes that explore Asian Pacific American culture and the Pacific Islander experience.
IMPACT AAPI is a cohort program, which means you take some required classes together with your group. You can also enjoy university tours and other fun activities outside the classroom and get extra support from the full-time IMPACT AAPI academic counselor.
First-time students who join IMPACT AAPI and certain other Learning Communities at De Anza may qualify to attend Summer Bridge, a helpful and fun introduction to college that will be held on campus, Aug. 28-31.
You can learn more about this Learning Community by visiting deanza.edu/impact-aapi. If you’re interested, be sure to submit the online form so we can follow up with you and answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you this fall!
