De Anza College is open to anyone, subject to residency requirements, who can show one of the following
- High school diploma
- High school equivalency certificate (GED)
- Proficiency certificate
- Evidence of being at least 18 and able to benefit from instruction offered by De Anza
High school students may attend De Anza as dual enrolled students if they are currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and have submitted a permission form signed by their high school principal and parent or guardian. High school students who do not provide required documents will be dropped from their courses.
If the college has reason to question the validity of a student's high school diploma, the student will be notified that they can continue enrollment but will not qualify for financial aid under the federal Title IV program
