* It is highly recommended that students take BUS 10 before other major requirements.

^ students transferring to CSU using IGETC must complete Area 1C (Oral Communication)

General Information

• Beginning fall 2021, Cal State Apply lists both Business Administration and Business Administration 2.0 in the drop down window for selection when students declare an ADT during the application process.
• ADT search engines shows both Business Administration and Business Administration 2.0.  Similar pathways will differ based on degree version.  Since the Business Administration 2.0 accommodates additional CSU curriculum requirements, it is anticipated more similar pathways will be available via this version than the prior version.

Effective 2022-23, only the Business Administration AS-T 2.0 degree will be published. Students with 2021-2022 and earlier catalog rights will be able to apply for the earlier version⁺ (see below), but they should consider completing the 2.0 version to be competitive.  Some CSU campuses have adopted, and all are expected to adopt, phase-out policies that could severely limit or eliminate the earlier version’s transfer pathways.
