2024-25 Equity Series: 

Data, High Impact Practices and Student Perspectives Through an Intersectional Lens

This six-part learning series will focus on raising awareness around prioritized student population groups – including Black, foster youth, Indigenous, Latinx, LGBTQ+ and Pacific Islander students.

Informed by successes from De Anza’s Learning Communities, this training will focus on high-impact practices that transform teaching and learning and reduce equity gaps for these student groups. Student perspectives will be centered in each session.

This series is an intentional effort to build a culture of equity at De Anza College and to strategically work towards the goals of the Equity Plan Re-Imagined. All college employees and students are invited to participate as a cohort for all six sessions or attend single sessions as they fit into your schedule. Sessions will be presented in hybrid format so you can attend in person online.
