Equity: A Guiding Priority

At De Anza College, the Student Equity and Achievement (SEA) Plan outlines some of the college's top priorities. It is updated regularly and is closely integrated with the college's Educational Master Plan.

Student Equity and Achievement Plan: 2022-2025

SEA Plan 2022-20265 coverThe Student Equity and Achievement (SEA) Plan is required by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and is informed by De Anza’s Educational Master Plan 2022-2027 as well as its “Equity Plan Re-Imagined” framework.

De Anza intends to close the equity gaps for disproportionately impacted student groups as identified in the SEA Plan for 2022-25 by integrating this report with De Anza's "Equity Plan Re-imagined." The SEA Plan for 2022-25 identifies which student groups are disproportionately impacted, and the "Equity Plan Re-imagined" plan provides a framework for how the college can shift current culture and practices to improving student outcomes and closing the equity gaps observed.
