  • De Anza Villages (Forum 1): There's a community for everyone at De Anza! Learn about our 6 Villages--communities based around your chosen major--and how these centers support your educational goals.
  • Umoja Huddle (L 25): This is a meet up for students in the Umoja program
  • FYE Huddle (L 75): This is a meet up for students in the FYE program
  • IMPACT Huddle (L 76): This is a meet up for students in the IMPACT AAPI program
  • Puente Huddle (L 22): This is a meet up for students in the Puente program
  • Pride Huddle (Pride Center, LIB 158): This is a meet up for students in the Pride program
  • Undocumented Students & Allies (E-COT 1): This huddle is geared for anyone who is interested in building solidarity with the undocumented community. We'll cover topics around allyship, base buiding, identity and intersection, and sharing more about De Anza's undocumentd student services and programs
  • MESA Huddle (S 54): This is a meet up for students in MESA or interested in joining the MESA program
  • MC2 & Rising Scholars Huddle (L 74): This is a meet up for the Men of Color Community students, Rising Scholar students, and anyone wanting to know more about both programs

  • De Anza has 25 career training programs, designed by industry experts, with hands-on training and the latest equipment. You can earn a degree or certificate in 6 to 24 months! 

MyPortal: There's an App For That!

  • Location: Advanced Technology Center (AT) 204
  • Your De Anza experience begins with MyPortal - the online platform where you'll register for classes and find all kinds of apps for student services. We'll show you how to use it!

Transfer Workshop

  • Location:  L 75 & L 76 
  • Dive into the essentials of majors, units and General Education – plus how to use transfer tools like ASSIST.org to plan your transfer journey

See Clearly With Vision Boarding

  • Location: L 42
  • This art workshop will demonstrate how to visualize and achieve your goals through vision boarding

You Down With STEM?

  • Location: L 22
  • Learn about resources for students majoring in STEM, and hear first-hand about the experiences of instructors and fellow students

Introduction to Honors

  • Location: L 81
  • The Honors Program provides a unique and challenging opportunity for high-achieving students. This program goes beyond traditional coursework, offering a tight-knit community, enriched classes, and a path for advanced research or creative projects. This session will cover the benefits of joining, eligibility requirements, and how to successfully navigate the program.

  • Now that you've learned about "Roary's Market", come see how Second Harvest can help supplement basic food needs. Join this interactive food demo to learn how to create balanced snacks and meals using food from Roary's Market and Second Harvest Food Pantry.
