New Career Video Series
A new video series highlights the opportunities and benefits offered by De Anza’s highly regarded career training programs, which offer courses, certificates and degrees in 25 different fields.
The first video in the series, which is being shared on the college website and social media this week, provides an overview of De Anza’s wide range of career programs, with scenes of students and instructors in these areas:
Arts, Media and Communications- Automotive and Manufacturing
- Business and Financial
- Child Development
- Energy, Environment and Sustainable Buildings
- Health and Medical
- Information Technology
- Law and Public Safety
Upcoming installments will explore individual programs and the opportunities they offer students to get the skills they need to succeed. The videos will highlight key benefits including courses designed and taught by industry experts, hands-on learning with the latest equipment, and flexible scheduling options such as online and evening classes.
All of De Anza’s career training programs are designed to prepare students to enter the workforce. In many cases, as the videos explain, students can also build on the skills they acquire while earning a certificate or associate degree, by transferring to continue their studies for a bachelor’s degree or beyond.
The videos are being developed by the Office of Communications in collaboration with the Career Technical Education Division and the departments that offer CTE programs at De Anza.
