Spring 2026
De Anza Concert Band & Rhapsody Ensemble
Tuesday, June 9, at the VPAC @ 7:30 PM ($15 general; $5 student; Free for DA Students)
De Anza College Concert Band joins forces with the Rhapsody Ensemble for an awesome
night of live music that takes you on a wild ride from outer space right down to the
dance floor! We’re mixing things up with epic sci-fi movie scores, massive orchestral
hits that explore the solar system, and majestic brass anthems. To top it off, we'll
bring the energy with a catchy waltz, foot-stomping Celtic beats, a huge pop-rock
anthem, and a cool, fresh contemporary piece. Whether you're a classical music buff
or just love a great movie soundtrack, this is a fun, high-energy concert you won't
want to miss.
Join us for our Spring 2026 Concert featuring the Concert Band and De Anza Chorale.
The Band will perform Selections from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, along with early
modern classics by Gustav Holst, Aaron Copland, and Charles Ives. The Choir will perform
selections from beloved Broadway musicals such as Les Misérables, Hadestown, The Lion
King, and Lemon Tree.

Jazz Concert
Saturday, March 14, at the VPAC @ 7 PM ($10 general; $5 student)

Get ready for a nostalgic trip through sound as the Jazz Ensemble performs iconic themes from classic video games. The evening will also feature our premier a cappella jazz group, Vocal Flight, delivering intricate vocal arrangements and swinging rhythms.

The Chamber Orchestra will perform a contemporary piece by Texas-based composer Kory Reeder, paired with the Romantic brilliance of Fanny Mendelssohn.
The Choir will take the stage to perform a selection of traditional Madrigals and highlights from Purcell’s majestic Ode to Queen Mary.
