Summary
The RAPP committee reviewed proposals for the establishment of the Faculty Prioritization Committee and the Program Sustainability Committee. Members discussed concerns regarding the workload capacity of current RAPP members and the prospective staff, faculty, and administrators who would serve on these new committees. Erik Woodbury, Agustin Espino Diaz, and Veronica Acevedo Avila will integrate the feedback received, refine the proposals, and present them to the committee for further review.
RAPP initiated the program review feedback process by assigning members to five cross-constituent groups. Each group - comprised of an administrator, classified professional, affinity group representative, student, and faculty member—began work on program reviews and the corresponding feedback form.
Next Steps
To ensure the timely completion of program reviews, RAPP will continue to meet remotely through the end of the winter quarter.
