About Community Education

The Community Education Division at De Anza College includes programs that serve community needs and interests, including the Child Development Center, De Anza College Academy, De Anza Planetarium and the Euphrat Museum of Art.

Child Development Center

The Child Development Center provides child care for toddlers and preschoolers from families affiliated with De Anza and the general public. It also serves as a teaching lab for students in the Child Development and Education program. The center is surrounded by trees on a quiet, five-acre corner of the campus.

De Anza College Academy

Our Academy provides year-round and special interest enrichment classes for students in grades 6 through 12, including an exciting, rigorous and comprehensive Summer Academy. Registration for our amazing summer Academy is now open. 

De Anza Planetarium

Our state-of-the art Planetarium brings you educational and entertaining astronomy shows, live lectures and musical performances, and exciting laser shows.

Euphrat Museum

The Euphrat Museum is more than a museum as it creates an experiential environment for visual ideas and communication. The comprehensive program of arts, education, public art programs and lectures stimulate creativity and interest in art among audiences of all ages. 

Short Courses

Short Courses offers innovative short-term, not-for-credit, fee-based enrichment classes and hundreds of online language, business, arts courses and more for all community members.
