AVID for Higher Education Presentation to the Academic Senate
Planning with OPD for "It's Only a Name Tent" strategy workshop to build community and check for understanding. Workshop to be provided by Dean E&E.
Fall 2024
Office of Professional Development and Equity completed the contract with AVID for Higher Education and the Student Success Module. Contract/invoice paid.
Met with the Academic Senate President to discuss the intentional delivery of services from AVID: English, Math, and Tutorial Services.
Met with AVID to determine training and professional development and program development days. Determined content to move forward with and 4-90 minute sessions to be held over the course of the winter and spring quarters. 2 dates were confirmed respectively focused on student motivation, building relational capacity, etc.
