Medical-Surgical Nursing Clinical


Course Description

This course focuses on applying concepts learned in the theory course to the management of nursing care of clients experiencing chronic and acute health stressors. Students will use nursing process, research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to facilitate culturally congruent care in acute medical-surgical care settings within the framework of safe, patient-centered, evidence-based care. The student's learning experience will be enhanced with clinical simulations and observation activities.
