Performance Studies
Course Description
This course is an introduction to the theories and methods of performance studies with a focus on oral interpretation. There is an emphasis placed on understanding how oral interpretation performances reflect and reconstitute the values and beliefs of diverse cultures. Students will analyze how members of various ethnic or cultural groups contribute to knowledge, civilization, and society through oral interpretation.
