Intermediate English as a Second Language
Course Description
This course focuses on developing English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with an emphasis on explicit and direct grammar instruction. Vocabulary-building and writing are emphasized. Pronunciation practice and discussion of cross-cultural topics are also included.

ESL 444.01: NONCREDIT Fully ON-CAMPUS. This class meets on-campus each week on scheduled days and times as noted in the class listing. This noncredit class mirrors the credit class ESL 244. Noncredit courses are intended to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills or enrich understanding of a wide range of topics. This class is non-transcriptable and cannot be used to earn an associate degree nor be used as transfer. You can earn a non-transcriptable vocational certificate upon completion. This is a 12-week class.
