Basic Photography
Course Description
This is an introductory course to black-and-white photography, providing an overview of the operating system of the 35mm single-lens reflex camera. Students will develop a basic understanding and gain hands-on experience in film processing, printing, and finishing techniques. The course also fosters critical thinking skills, enabling students to analyze the historical, cultural, conceptual, and practical aspects of a medium used worldwide. It serves as a foundation for further exploration in photography, including digital imaging.
