Operating System Concepts
Course Description
The primary objective of this course is to teach concepts and the use of operating systems. Emphasis will be placed on multiprogramming and multiprocessing systems; process and threads scheduling considerations including mutual exclusion, synchronization, and deadlocks; memory management strategies; security and protection management; and file management.
