Introduction to CNC Programming and Operation; Mill


Course Description

This CNC programming and operations course is an introduction to mill tool path programming using G & M code format, including CNC systems and components and machine controller functions and operations. The focus of this course is to introduce students to program entry, editing, verification, calculation for mill cutter compensation, cutting tool selection and basic mill setups. Demonstrations of workholding and precision inspection techniques will also be included in this course.
