Introduction to Film/Television Directing
Course Description
This course examines the development and execution of short, single-camera projects focusing on the skill of directing and crafting an actor's performance. Students engage in scene analysis exercises, evaluate rehearsals with actors, plan and produce hands-on exercises, and create video projects where students apply various techniques of working with actors, mise-en-scene and camera movement.
