De Anza College supports its students, faculty and classified professionals who have family or friends affected by the disastrous hurricanes of recent weeks.
While the federal government has moved quickly to assist those in Florida and Texas, aid has arrived more slowly in United States territories of the Caribbean, particularly Puerto Rico.
You can help by donating to these organizations that are providing direct aid to devastated areas.
- The One America Appeal is a joint effort by all five living former American presidents. You can designate your contribution to be used in Puerto Rico or in other areas.
- Save the Children is accepting donations to assist families affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
- UNICEF USA is mobilizing to deliver emergency relief kits with critical supplies to the children
of Puerto Rico.
