RAPP Meeting Minutes 

Hybrid Mtg. 9 a.m.-11:20 a.m. 

Tuesday Nov.25, 2025 

The meeting began with an overview of the draft minutes from November 18, 2025. Following approval, the committee moved to a discussion of the ranking and voting process for position reconciliation.  Mallory Newell and Veronica Acevedo Avila reported that they had reviewed all constituency group buckets submitted by the November 24 deadline. To streamline the process, they presented a consolidated bucket where positions overlapped. The RAPP Tri-Chairs then led the committee through the reconciliation process using these updated buckets.

Following a lengthy discussion regarding specific positions, RAPP voted to recommend the following rankings:
Bucket #1: Bussiness, Political Science, 2D/3D Design and Art, English as a Second Language, Anatomy and Physiology/Biology
Bucket #2: Geography, Computer Information Systems, CETH/NAIS, Art History, Math
Bucket #3: General Biology, Communication Studies, Film Studies, Business, Chemistry

These aformentioned recommendations will be forwarded to College Council for further review, and subsequently to Senior Administrators for final determinations. The next and last RAPP meeting for this quarter will be held next Tuesday Dec. 2 beginning at 9:30 a.m until 11:20 a.m. During this meeting, we will begin a parallel reconciliation process for all non-instructional positions. All constituency groups are asked to submit one bucket of their top five non-instructional positions by 11:59 p.m Monday, December 1st.
