Approval of Notes – October 1, 2019 notes were approved with an amendment:
“IPBT does not allocate Guided Pathways funding.”
DASB Report –
DASB senators attended the FHDA Board meeting to advocate for affordable student housing for the Flint Center.
Program Review Timeline change discussion –
The majority of the meeting was dedicated to a Program Review timeline change. By moving it to the fall quarter it will allow IPBT to see the previous year programs’ data which is valuable in setting goals & decisions. It also provides more time to the divisions/departments to allocate and obtain their resource requests by the end of the academic year. The committee pointed out several aspects of changing the date i.e., beneficial to CTE/Perkin allocation/timeline; a good year to adjust before a Comprehensive Program Review in 2020-2021; include in the departments meeting at College Opening day. Mary Pape and Lorrie Ranck will work on the new deadline and present to IPBT at the next meeting.
Program Review Groups -
Before the groups started working, the Program Review Groups were set and confirmed.
