Comprehensive Program Review Update:
V.A PLOAC Summary
change "to date" to "since June 3, 2014"
[any way to have link that takes them directly to data? No.]
Replace "for a minimum of a second time..." with "at least once between Fall 2014
and end of Winter 2019.
[Program Reviews are due to deans March 25, before Spring Break, because of Accreditation
timeline. How does this mesh with scheduled Convocation dates?]
V.C.2 Justification of Faculty Requests
Add "Provide a brief justification for this position." or "Briefly, how will this
position support student needs?"
[for CTE programs: Advisory board recommendations?]
Staff request should match faculty request language.
V.F.1 Facilities
(Randy: Facilities is disconnected from other shared governance groups. Would be good for them to have Program Review requests.)
Rowena: SSPBT needs to have a parallel process.
The following questions are left to be answered:
- Where are the equity plans housed? That is, is it possible to provide a link to these for departments to refer to?
- Is the date of March 25 firm? Program Review workshops were scheduled earlier than usual to provide departments with more time so as to ensure responses as meaningful as possible and to ensure feedback from the entire department. Also, a main focus of the Convocation scheduled for April 15th is to provide departments a time for this discussion. It was assumed that the Program Review document would be due to the Deans on Monday, April 18, 2016. If there is a need to have these prepared earlier for 2016-17 then the SLO team will so plan.
