Program Review Calendar – (Pape, Lee-Wheat)
Mary Pape sent the Program Review documents to the team via email for a today’s discussion.
Documents used for Program Review discussion:
Sample Program Review Complete – (a sample of print out straight out of TracDat)
- The document is available anytime to be printed out.
- No necessity to transcribe the responses that are in TracDat to another file.
- PDF’s can be created and posted.
Comprehensive Program Review 2016 - 2017 -
Program Review documents are due in spring – the actual date is TBD.
The question arose regarding when to have Convocation day. After a lengthy discussion the dates were still undetermined due to so many schedule conflicts. The team will come back to the discussion at a future meeting.
The IPBT members agreed to continue to use the excel template for Instructional Equipment requests.Mary Pape will facilitate one more Program Review workshop in December.
Mallory Newell will be invited to the future meetings to share how we are collecting the data in the Inquiry Tool.
Lottery Enhancement Wrap-Up -
Espinosa-Pieb asked the team to read the departments’ responses and think about how they tie to Equity. She inquired if the team should create a scoring sheet/rubric to score the responses.
CTE, Strong Workforce Initiative –
Espinosa-Pieb announced that the college is receiving $1.3M a year for CTE programs. Now is a good time to review the CTE structure.
CTE programs are to come up with a budget proposal. CTE money can be used for operational cost expense and/or to hire CTE positions.
The management positions list would come from Senior Staff then go for IPBT for approval.
IPBT should allocate CTE funds before Instructional Equipment funds because not every division/department has CTE programs.
Instructional Equipment Request – Postponed until January 2017.
