Approval of Notes for March 9, 2021 Meeting – IPBT meeting notes were approved with corrections.

DASB Report – Esha Dadbhawala shared that DASB has approved the Juneteenth Resolution and the Affordable Housing Resolution. Kimberly Lam and Beniam Gebratwere elected to represent DASB on College Council Task Force.  2021-22 DASB budget stipulations were approved. Esha was chosen as Student Feedback Committee Chair. One Senator in violation of the Code of Conduct was removed from office. Election Committee voted to disqualify two Senators who had complaints leveraged on them that they violated the code of conduct and the election code. Both Senators are appealing.

Finalize Qualitative Equity Focused Hiring Rubric – Heidi introduced the item requesting input on the rubric draft. The origin of this draft was input collected in Padlet activity during our February discussion of formulating a qualitative decision-making process. Members of IPBT made suggestions on rewording of questions and proposed to add language that would focus responses. Suggestions were given that we might want to be more specific than “disproportionately impacted students.” as to the populations that we are focusing upon. Exactly how the rubric will be used needs to be clearer.

IPBT members voted in favor of holding a meeting on March 23, 2021to continue the discussion.
