Position Request
- Cook presented a new position to be approved by the SSPBT Committee.

Program Reviews
- The 2015-16 Program Reviews need to be reviewed by next week and any updates
sent in to be posted on the webpage. - 2016-17 Program Reviews need to be completed by the end of spring quarter in June.
Program & Committee Updates
Shears reported on the Technology Committee
- The new website is progressing and Gaeir Dietrich is working with them to make sure everything is accessible.
- Shears is also working on making all workstations on campus accessible. The committee suggested putting in an ETS work project request to get this moving forward.
Sheila reported on Starfish, EduNav, and Banner
- Getting ready to schedule the Starfish kick-off date.
- Sheila would like to present to SSPBT
- EduNav has been approved by the Board for student use.
- This software program will be SSSP funded
- The Banner meeting:
- Discussed the implementation of student emails and are looking for feedback.
- There has been some policy discussion for students under 18 years old.
- Working on a new policy for Academic Renewal and are waiting for feedback.
Michele reported on EOPS
- Announced the donation EOPS received for a new student Scholars Program.
- The goal is to reduce the equity gap and will provide for meals, books, laptop, etc.
- The pilot program will have 20 students.

Cortez reported on SSRS
- Umoja is hosting a Black Professionals event on Thursday, March 16th
- Puente is visiting UC Santa Cruz
- FYE is visiting UC Santa Cruz
Cook reported on the A2MEND Conference
- Cook described the conference as powerful and engaging
- The conference started with about 200 and now has over 1000 participants
- The conference gives positive examples of successful black males in the community
- Suggested bringing De Anza students next year
