SSPBT Meeting Notes - November 17, 2016

There were no amendments to the agenda or to the notes.
The Technology Committee meets once a month on the first Thursday of the month. Any technology items can be discussed at SSPBT and a representative from SSPBT can bring them to the monthly tech meeting. Mandy and White-Daniels will continue being the tech representatives for SSPBT.
Program & Committee Updates
White-Daniels reported on the Counseling Center
- Developed a process and goals for Comprehensive Ed Plans
- Should reach their goals by winter quarter
- Developed five core teams (working groups) for the following areas:
- Starfish
- EduNav
- Accreditation Self-Study
- Creative Advising
- Career Services
Mieso reported on Outreach
- Taking in new students who are not already in programs on campus
- Working on Comprehensive Ed Plans; over 1000 so far
- Accurate data is still an issue
Phillips reported on OTI
- Strong Workforce Initiative money will becoming in and requests/suggestions on how to use the money by the end of December are needed. This information will be compiled and placed into a report with the recommendations by Margaret Bdzil and Phillips.
