The Pride Center is hosting Oakland based visual artist Jorge Gomez-Gonzalez to discuss their artwork, queer representation and how to use visual arts to tell a story.
Gomez-Gonzalez is a Coca descendent (Jalisco, Mexico) and was born and raised in Oakland. They received their MFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and their Bachelor of Arts in Art and Education at UC Santa Cruz.
