VIDA invites you to Part 1 of the 2024 Global Issues Conference, titled "Roots and Responses: Looking at the Causes and Solutions to the Crises of Our Era." Part A, "Painting a Picture of Liberation," is Monday, March 4, from 10:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in Conference Rooms A and B. There will be a Keynote presentation given by De Anza faculty member, Veronica Acevedo Avila, on Art and Global Liberation. There will also be poetry performances on global issues and student-led presentations about global issues they are passionate about with guided small group discussions.
