The Asian American and Asian Studies department (ASAM) kicks off its quarterly field trips at an event presented by the San Jose Public Library called Talk Story: Tales of First Wave Filipinos in the Valley of Heart's Delight. Join us to hear descendants of pioneering Filipino families recount stories and experiences growing up as second-generation Filipino Americans through the Depression, World War ll, and Post-War era.
