Joining the MOMENTUM Series for the first-ever De Anza Kapuso Conference, in celebration of Filipino American History Month, guest speaker Ryan Letada will discuss social justice work and the importance of college education. Ryan was born in Kuwait to Filipino refugee parents, and was raised in the Philippines before immigrating to New York City. He profoundly understands how human migration can move culture and humanity forward. Ryan is the CEO of NextDayBetter, an award-winning social impact agency and media company fueled by the movement of people and culture. He is a leading expert on how the movement of people and culture across digital and physical borders will disrupt commerce, media, workplaces and society. Within this context, he regularly advises on digital social movements, storytelling for change, inclusive data, and the future of DEIB – diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
