The automotive industry is an exciting job sector – fueled by advances in automotive technology and expanding in new markets with the development of electric and autonomous vehicles for passengers and deliveries. With this growth, there’s an increasing need for managers who have business and financial training as well as automotive knowledge. 

Convenient Online Schedule

When you enter the bachelor's degree program in Automotive Technology Management, you’ll take courses in automotive subjects as well as management, accounting, operations and customer relations.

These upper-division courses are all taught online – making it easier to complete your studies while keeping up with work, family and other obligations.

You can complete all four years of this program at De Anza College, or you can transfer in from another community college to complete your last two years. Either way, you’ll earn a bachelor's degree and gain high-demand skills that will open the door to high-paying jobs and career opportunities. 

The new program was designed to extend the  academic and career pathway for students – including women and other historically underrepresented population groups – who previously may not have had opportunities to earn bachelor’s degrees or advance into automotive management.

De Anza's Automotive Technology Department has a proven track record of developing innovative programs – including noncredit classes, evening programs and career pathways in autonomous and electric vehicles.
