Our Structure

DALE De Anza has two arms, Direct Services and Structural Change.

Direct Services

Direct Services looks for ways to assist in improving the daily lives of our undocumented immigrant community. Currently we are focused on Doc Prep: preparing 315 extended DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival) and DAPA (Deferred Action for Parental Accountability) applications by February 2017. (Contact us if you are interested in assistance!)

Structural Change

Structural Change is focused on re-framing the discussion through education, looking at the larger global dynamics at play. We also seek to engaged students in local actions to advocate for immigrant rights!

 Our Coalition

Since 2012 President Obama has announced various administrative relief programs  for current undocumented immigrants in the United States. As a result  of high numbers of applicants eligible for administrative relief programs in Silicon Valley, we have launch the Administrative Relief (AR) United Project, a collaboration 0f 12 community organizations.

Our AR United Project is designed to ensure the highest number of county residents benefit from President Obama’s Administrative Relief programs and new bases of grassroots leaders are organized to further advance justice for immigrants in Santa Clara County. The outcomes of AR United Coalition are:

1. Outreach & Education –

Conduct Outreach and Education to 17,000 county residents, conduct initial screening of 5,000 potential applicants

2. Document Prep –

Assist 2,100 county residents assemble the necessary documents required to apply for

the upcoming DAPA and DACA+ opportunities

3. Leadership Development –

Recruit and retain new bases of leaders to work on campaigns that advance

the causes of immigrant communities

4. Community Organizing –

Sustain a multi-agency approach to unified community organizing campaigns.
