UC TAG Application Workshops

Planning to transfer to UC in Fall 2015?

Attend a workshop this summer to review the UC TAG program requirements for 2015-2016 transfer.

Campuses participating in the UC TAG program: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz

Applicants must meet campus-specific requirements to be eligible for a UC TAG and may submit only one TAG to UC per academic year.

Workshop topics will include:
  • An overview of the UC TAG Application System with a special focus on the UC Davis TAG
  • An overview of UC TAG criteria, process, and deadlines for Fall 2015 transfers
  • Specific procedures and deadlines for De Anza College students
  • General UC TAG Questions & Answers
    NOTE: UC TAG Workshops DO NOT focus on the UC undergraduate application process. The Transfer Center will offer UC Application Workshops beginning in August 2014.

NOTE: Due to limited staffing, De Anza College counselors and academic advisers will only be available for quick questions from June 30 through September 26 so attending a UC TAG Workshop is strongly encouraged.

Special Notice:
  • Registration is required.
  • Seating is limited (Limit 1 information session per student) and offered on a first come, first served basis.
  • Please cancel at least 24 hours prior to session date to allow other students to attend.
  • Upon arrival, DO NOT check in at the Counseling Center Front Desk. Report directly to the assigned location.
  • Arrive promptly. Doors will close promptly at the start of the session.
  • Late arrivals will need to register for a future session.
  • Bring a pen/pencil and paper for notes.

Register for a UC TAG Workshop Today!

Students must have a valid De Anza Student ID to register using the Transfer Workshops Online Registration System

NOTE: Upon reaching the maximum workshop seating capacity, students will no longer be permitted to register online.

Prospective UC TAG applicants must first create a UC TAP account and then follow the prompts to apply for a UC TAG.  The UC TAG Application System will open on July 1st. Students must submit their TAG application during the month of September.

Effective this year, the UC Online Application System will open on August 1st so students may begin working on their UC application for admission earlier. Students must submit their UC application during the month of November.
