Tutor Training

All new tutors, unless exempt attend a tutor training class during the first quarter of tutoring. See the links below for more information.

• LRNA/PSME 95: Intro to Peer Tutoring in Math & Science is a two-unit class for new math and science tutors.
• LRNA /SPCH 96: Intro to Peer Tutoring in Groups is a two-unit class for new Skills Adjunct and group tutors.
• LRNA/EWRT 97: Intro to Peer Tutoring in Writing is a three-unit class required of all new writing tutors.
• LRNA 98: Intro to Tutor Training in General Subjects is is a two-unit class for new individual general subject tutors.

New Tutor orientations: All new tutors must attend an orientation to learn our procedures and practices.  Please see your supervisor for dates.

LRNA/PSME-095. 55Y - Intro to Peer Tutoring in Math & Science (Call # 02862)
2 Units Fridays     2:30-4:10 PM  in S16      (begins week 3, 6 classes)

LRNA/SPCH-096. 55Y- Intro Peer Tutoring in Groups (Call #02926)
2 Units Fridays     9:30-11:10 AM   in L75      (begins week 3, 6 classes)

LRNA/EWRT-097. 01Y  - Intro to Peer Tutoring in Writing (Call # 01454)
3 Units Thursdays      3:45-5:25 PM  in L76  (begins week 1, 12 classes)

LRNA-098. 55Y- Intro to Tutor Training for General Subjects (Call # 01455)
2 Units Mondays     3:45-5:25 PM in L71  (begins week 3, 6 classes)
