Skills Workshop Schedule
De Anza College Skills Workshops are presented by Staff & Faculty in the Learning Resources Division who lead informative discussions and activities to improve basic skills, increase academic performance and enhance study strategies. Skills Workshops are designed for a diverse student population as well as a variety of learning styles and skill levels.
Attend a workshop to:
- discover more information about yourself to achieve personal and college success
- become more aware of the 'right' study skill for you to study smarter, not harder
- learn how to become a life-long learner by developing effective study habits
- fulfill a requirement for a Skills Course or earn extra-credit in a De Anza College course

Skills Workshops are available to all currently enrolled De Anza College students, although priority seating is given to students enrolled in the Student Success Center's programs and services:
General Information
- Workshops are 50 minutes in length
- Workshops take place during Weeks 4 - 8 of the quarter (Fall, Winter, Spring)
- Free of charge
- Seating is limited to 15 students
- Walk-in students welcome if space is available, arrive on time
How to Sign Up 
- Sign-up outside the Academic Skills Center in the Workshop Sign-Up Binder
- Sign up sheets are added to the binder one week in advance of the workshops
- Sign-ups begin Week 3 for workshops that take place during Week 4 of the quarter
- Visit the Academic Skills Center each week to check the whiteboard for workshop room location, cancellations, and updates
