Transcripts

This page explains how to order a transcript of your De Anza College coursework. If you are a student transferring from another college to take courses at De Anza, please see how to submit a prerequisite clearance request.

De Anza College has contracted with Credentials Solutions to provide transcript order, printing, and delivery service.

Transcripts with grades for the most current completed quarter will not be available until at least a week after the end of that quarter (if your grades have been submitted).

You will want to check that your most current grades are included by viewing your unofficial transcript inside MyPortal. You may request a transcript pending these grades.

Please Note: Due to state budget cuts, we no longer accept in-person transcript requests and cannot guarantee timely delivery of transcripts processed in Admissions and Records. Please order your transcripts online to ensure quick turnaround from our partner Credentials Solutions.

Current Students may view Unofficial Transcripts or request Official Transcripts through the MyPortal Registration tab. Choose Unofficial Transcript or Order De Anza Official Transcript under the My Records section. Official transcripts requested through MyPortal do not require a signature page faxed to Admissions.

De Anza College has appointed Credentials Solutions as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of De Anza College. The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company’s website that is provided during the delivery process. Credentials Solutions has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of De Anza College and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.

  • Provide operator assistance from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (CST) Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to  5 p.m. (CST) on Friday, by calling 847.716.3005 for help.
  • Allow you to submit your request any time day or night
  • Confirmation e-mail sent when transcript order is complete

Please note: Online requests will be filled first. If you must request a transcript other than online, please include the following information:

  • Full name, and any previous names
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Approximate dates of attendance
  • Complete address(es) where the transcript(s) is to be sent
  • Indicate delivery method: Priority or Routine
  • Payment information (If necessary)
  • Your signature

(Pick-up Requests must be ordered online.)  We can no longer process in-person (on demand) transcript requests unless ordered online prior to pick up.

Pick-up Hours:  Admissions & Records is open the following hours.

  • Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
  • Fridays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Complete the online form and select Priority Pickup. Pay the fees by credit card, sign authorization form and go to Admissions & Records window with photo ID to pick up transcript.

Fees and Processing Times:

Wherever possible, an electronic transcript will be sent to our college partners accepting these transcript formats. Others will be mailed.

FedEx Delivery: Transcripts may be delivered through FedEx. The Standard Overnight service will be: Domestic 48 is $18 FedEx fee; Alaska & Hawaii is $21; FedEx fee and International is $41; FedEx fee, plus the $14 priority transcript fee and any Credentials Solutions service fee.

PRIORITY: Priority (rush) transcripts cost $14 each, and will be processed within 3 working days. Be sure to include complete address (es) to which the transcript(s) is to be sent.

ROUTINE: Students are allowed 2 free transcripts; after that each routine transcript will cost $4 plus any Credentials Solutions service fee. To request a free copy, fax or mail your request to De Anza Admissions (information below). All transcripts will be mailed; NO pick ups are allowed. Processing time is one week except during peak times. All transcripts are mailed regular first class.

  • Transcript will NOT be processed unless all outstanding obligations to De Anza College are cleared.
  • Transcript will NOT be processed without student's signature.
  • Work-in-Progress will automatically be included for currently enrolled courses.
  • End-of-quarter requests are accepted ONLY DURING FINALS WEEK OR LATER.
  • Only De Anza College grades are issued. Grades from other schools MUST be ordered from the original school, including Foothill College.
  • Multiple transcripts to be sent to the same recipient will be packaged in a large envelope, but will be individually sealed inside.
  • In accordance with the Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), student written authorization and a copy of a valid photo ID with a signature is REQUIRED to release transcripts.

Be sure and request transcripts be held until all grades for the current term have been posted. Duplicate transcripts will not be provided if there were missing grades on your transcript and you did not request the hold.
