Meet our Student Ambassadors

What can a Student Ambassador do for you?

Encourage a prospective student to pursue a higher education.
Give a young perspective on how to transition to college and what to do once you get here.
Offer support to students to assist them with anything they need to be successful here — whether it be tutoring, financial aid or how to get involved on campus.

Our Student Ambassadors are very active on campus and can give you the inside scoop on the different clubs and programs that we have at De Anza!

"Hello everyone, my name is Joey Garcia. When it comes to being a Student Ambassador my goal isn't to just succeed, my goal is to raise the bar! I have been a student here at De Anza College for two years, working towards a degree in Social Work and transferring to UC Berkeley. My passion has been working with underserved youths and showing them their true unlimited potential. Over the summer I worked with a support program on campus called IMPACT AAPI (Asian American & Pacific Islanders).
