Latest News & Information
In June 2016, the Academic Senate unanimously approved to formally adopt Canvas as the course management system for the campus. This year we will phase out of the use of Catalyst and offer Canvas certification training.
By completing Canvas Certification, you will be able to use Canvas for online, hybrid or face-to-face classes.
- You will be cleared to activate Canvas shells for your course(s) beginning Winter 2017.
- Certification does not mean that you must use Canvas beginning in Winter.
- Catalyst users have until the end of Spring 2017 to convert their courses to Canvas. Canvas Certification training will be offered every quarter.
We are offering two certification options - one for those new to Canvas and one for those with Canvas experience.
