As you know, the situation with the coronavirus has been changing rapidly – and by necessity, so has the college’s planning. We have been monitoring updates from county, state and national health authorities, and we are working to make the best determinations for you and your education, as well as for our faculty and staff.
- At this point, all remaining classes, including labs, studio arts and physical activity, will move to remote options. Your instructors will provide information about specific arrangements for each class. As always, you can contact your instructors with specific questions.
- In addition, beginning tomorrow – Monday, March 16 – many services including Financial Aid, Counseling and others will be provided remotely, and NOT on campus. Most offices and campus facilities will be closed. Please see the webpages for individual programs and check deanza.edu/healthservices/coronavirus for details beginning tomorrow, and please contact individual programs with specific questions.
We also encourage you to continue practicing everyday hygiene precautions – such as washing hands frequently and covering coughs properly – that health agencies have recommended to reduce the spread of respiratory diseases. You'll find more information about this on our coronavirus information webpage: deanza.edu/healthservices/coronavirus.
