Campus Abroad Financial Aid Information
Students interested in a Campus Abroad Program through Foothill-De Anza Community College District are encouraged to apply early for financial aid. Because of extra costs associated with the trip, their eligibility for aid is increased.
The first step for any Campus Abroad student interested in financial aid is to complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. If you are a De Anza student, list De Anza College code #004480. Foothill College students should list Foothill College, code #001199. Continuing students are encouraged to apply for the current year and the coming year to maximize available aid.
Once FAFSA data is available to the college, an email will be sent to the student to access MyPortal.fhda.edu. That is the best time to schedule an appointment to discuss your eligibility so that you can make plans for your trip. Make an appointment with the Director of Financial Aid at your college after your FAFSA is received in MyPortal.
We have state and federal financial aid programs to offer (Pell Grant, SEOG Grant, Direct Loan, PLUS Loan, Federal Work-Study, Cal Grants, EOPS Grant, and BOG Fee Waivers). Assistance is available to low-, middle- and upper-income students/families. We do not have any special financial aid programs for students on Campus Abroad.
Campus Abroad students receive individualized treatment because we want to do everything we can to make this wonderful international experience possible. You'll find out more about upcoming Foothill-De Anza Campus Abroad opportunities on the Campus Abroad Web site.
