I received an Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership from Walden University, 2011. During my schooling at SJSU, I was a McNair Fellow, Subject-Pool Coordinator, Teaching Assistant, and Psi Chi member. I worked at NASA Ames Research Center where I conducted and completed my graduate thesis on prospective memory (everyday memory) as it relates to flight safety.
I began teaching at DeAnza College in the Winter of 2006 under the chair of the psychology department, Dr. Ramskov. I currently teach Psychology 1 (general psych), Psychology 8 (social psych) and CD10G (child development: the early years). As a De Anza faculty I have been involved in the Student Learning Outcomes process, Academic Senate, Student Services Planning and Budget Team, created an In-Reach tutorial for the social science division, was the Early Alert Caller for large classes, facilitated workshops for faculty development, helped coordinated “Youth Voices United for Changeâ€, advise the BSU and 4 Elements Hip Hop club, and overall I believe my role is to mentor and guide students to success.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
