This year, the De Anza Inter-Club Council (ICC) is introducing our first ever De Anza Leadership Conference in collaboration with DASB! Using Zoom Webinar, students will be able to learn from expert speakers on how to achieve your leadership potential. The event speakers are:
We will be covering leadership styles, managing conflict, career building skills, presentation skills, social justice, and how to overall maximize your future success.
- Tamara Steele, founder of EVOLVE, Global Women's Collaborative Community (GWCC). She has over 25 years of combined experience as an accomplished executive, life coach, author, professional speaker, licensed minister and attorney at law. She has coached and trained numerous attorneys and corporate professionals.
- Doris Pickering, who launched Silicon Valley Speaks to provide a platform for creating and delivering professional "elevator intros," speeches and TED Talks. She has also customized programs and trained professionals to create and deliver concise, compelling presentations through one-on-one coaching, corporate training and group workshops.
- Raj Jayadev, De Anza alum and co-founder of Silicon Valley De-Bug, a community organizing and advocacy organization based in San Jose, CA. De-Bug has initiated campaigns around bail reform, police accountability, sentencing reform and more. He is also a MacArthur "Genius" Fellow.
