For New and Future Students

counselor at her deskEnrollment Day is a great way to take care of everything you need for a great start at De Anza College! 

You'll be able to talk with academic counselors and other campus experts. They will guide you through the important steps for priority registration and help you get connected with resources and programs – so you'll be ready to go in the fall!

All high school students  and their family members  are welcome to join us for this online event. You'll find the tentative schedule and list of activities below.


Here's What You Can Do on Enrollment Day!

First:

Start the day with a workshop, beginning at 9 or 9:30 a.m. 

  • You will get the most benefit if you choose one and attend for the entire period. You can attend an Orientation Workshop starting at 9 a.m. or an Application Workshop starting at either 9 or 10 a.m. 
  • See below for registration information.

Check out some activities! There are a variety of sessions beginning at 11 a.m. and more activities starting at noon.

  • Click the red tabs below to see if you need to register in advance for an activity you're interested in.
  • Some of the activities are presentations: To get the most benefit, you'll want to join these at the beginning of the hour.
  • Other activities are "drop-in" sessions: You can join any time, stay as long as you like, and move on to another one whenever you are ready.

  • The Information Desk will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you can drop in any time to speak with experts who can answer your questions about admissions, classes, financial aid and other topics.

    Orientation Workshops: 9 to 11 a.m.

    This is a chance to complete orientation and work on your preliminary ed plan – both requirements for getting priority enrollment status. (You'll need to complete your application for admission before taking this workshop.) Please register in advance for this workshop.

    Application Workshops: 9 to 10 a.m. or 10 to 11 a.m.

    This workshop is for students who would like help completing their application for summer session or fall quarter at De Anza College. You can choose either session – either the one starting at 9 a.m. or the one starting at 10 a.m. Please register in advance.

    Learn about our courses, degrees and certificates in computer science, database design, data science, engineering, IT support, network administration, web development and more. 


    Counseling and Academic Advising

    Join our counselors for an open Q&A about classes, majors, transferring to four-year universities and other topics. The first hour (11 a.m. to noon) will focus on "Starting College During a Pandemic."

    De Anza College Promise

    The De Anza College Promise provides FREE tuition and fees for two years, plus $1,000 toward books and materials. Our counselors can answer all your questions about this program.
